Hutt Valley DHB is a dynamic and innovative provider of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery involving multi-disciplinary teams; along with services for obstetrics and gynaecology, ENT, general, orthopaedics, dental, maxillofacial, ophthalmology and acute services.

About the Role

We are pleased to offer the role of Trainee Anaesthetic Technician. As a Trainee Anaesthetic Technician, you will be working towards a qualification in Diploma of Applied Sciences (Anaesthetic Technology).

The course run by AUT, is for three years if you have no relevant health industry experience, or between eighteen months and two years if you hold relevant health industry experience or a relevant degree.

This will involve clinical training hours at Hutt Valley hospital as well as the completion of AUT modules and distant learning. For further information, please refer to:

To be accepted into the AUT Program it is essential you are a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.

Skills and Experience:
