Administrator - Mental Health
Location: 40-42 Queens Drive Lower Hutt
Contract: Permanent - Full time (40 hours)

About the Role
If you value customer service at the frontline of mental healthcare delivery, then this is the role for you. While it is a demanding environment, you will have the opportunity to excel in serving a community in need, making a real difference to tangata whai ora`s experience in their mental health recovery journey, while also learning up to date legislative processes. The role will also expose you to a multidisciplinary team environment, with various disciplines, such as psychiatry, psychology, social work, nursing and occupational therapy, working alongside you day to day. This is a full‑time position working from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The salary range is $66,611–$71,074, depending on experience.

Hutt South Community Mental Health Services is the largest community based mental health team in Wellington, serving a diverse geographical area and a diverse population. We are centrally located with access to public transport, riverbank car park and Queensgate. Our service has a strong, dedicated and supportive team culture, and an established Learning and Development Centre to tautoko your career development. About you
We are seeking dynamic, motivated and skilled administrator.
- Proven experience and a track record of success in a similar administrative role;
- Ideally experience in working in the health industry and an understanding of clinical governance;
- Well-developed written and oral skills – the ability to communicate ideas in writing and verbally;
- Excellent word processing and PC skills with an intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel;
- Experience in public or community relations or events management is required as is experience in a corporate environment with exposure in dealing with stakeholder and customer relations.
