Contract: 1yr fixed term, part time (1 day a week)

Salary: $51,820 - $62,154 Pro Rata

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated person with a commitment to high quality care to join a supportive and innovative team that puts the patient and their whānau at the centre of everything it does.  The role is mainly based at Hutt Hospital alongside our Newborn Hearing screening team and ENT service.

Our Audiology team is comprised of five Audiologists, an Audiometrist and an Audiology technician, supported by a professional leader.  We have a strong reputation for innovation and excellent clinical practice and value discussion and collaboration to provide the best quality care for our community.  We strive to live our organisational values of Mahi Tahi, Mahi Rangatira and Mahi Pai.  As a member of our team of you will be supported with professional development opportunities and ongoing supervision.

The Kaiawhina requires essential skills focused on communication with whānau and working with community networks to support whānau attending Audiology appointments. We are looking for a culturally grounded person who uses a holistic approach focused on improving the health and wellbeing of whānau and addressing individual needs within a whānau context.
