About the Role

We are looking for an experienced reliable barista with outstanding customer service skills. This position is fulltime, Monday to Friday. The role includes making barista coffee, customer service, cash handling, basic food preparation and service, along with cleaning. Hutt Hospital cafés provide over 500 coffees and meals a day. 

The salary band for this position is $59,550 – $64,542, depending on experience. 

About the Team/Service/ Location

As a Barista you will work closely with three others as part of the larger Food Service team. Our Café Stat team are well known within the hospital as making great coffee with exceptional service. We have a lot of repeat customers that rely on their coffee to get them through the day, we are busy! 

About you

We are looking for someone with great customer service and communication skills with a positive, can do attitude, who is used to working in a busy team environment. You will be able to multitask efficiently, demonstrate a strong sense of punctuality and respect for schedules and work well under pressure.

The salary band for this role is $59,550 – $64,542, depending on experience.
