Salary: $70,970 - $78,397 (pro-rated)
Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role
The role is based in the Therapies/OPRS Departments at Hutt Hospital. This is a casual position, on an “as required” basis to cover sick and annual leave. You will need to be able to work a full 8 hour day.
We are looking for an empathetic person with office experienced who is motivated to learn in a changing environment. Have outstanding and courteous frontline reception skills with a friendly professional manner. There is a large variety of general office tasks and a sound computer knowledge will be needed

The position supports diverse clinical teams, who pride themselves on providing exceptional care to all patients and whanau visiting our services.
This is an opportunity to be part of a small friendly admin team, working in the Therapy Department and Older Person Rehabilitation Service which includes Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Therapy, Pain Management, Geriatrician and Hand Therapy Services.
This is a very busy department where you will be working with our professional friendly teams that have a can do attitude, where patients are valued and made welcome.
Moū – About you
We need someone who has:
- Experience relating to a wide range of ethnic groups to provide a positive experience for our clients with exceptional customer service.
- Relates well to all and has the ability to build appropriate rapport with clients and staff.
- Has previous administration experience, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail - admits mistakes and is open to learning.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite -knowledge of SCP/Concerto/WebPas/MAP would be an advantage.
