About the Role 

Salary:    $114,025.00 - $121,444.00 

Hutt Hospital has an eight theatre suite. We are a dynamic and innovative provider of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery involving multi-disciplinary teams; along with services for obstetrics and gynaecological, ENT, general, orthopaedics, dental, maxillofacial, and acute services.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in the role of Perioperative Clinical Nurse Coordinator ENT (CNC), facilitating, coordinating and managing the needs of the ENT specialty in the Operating Theatres.

The CNC will work closely with a Leadership team that communicates in an authentic way that inspires others.

The Theatre nurses at Health New Zealand Hutt Valley are part of a close-knit team and work within an approachable and sociable environment. 

Nurses are well supported by a strong leadership team and dedicated nurse educators.

About you 

Relevant experience, skills or attitudes essential for this role:

  • Relevant healthcare tertiary qualification
  • Success participating in quality initiatives and/or health projects.
  • Medium computer skills including MS Office.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience in the Perioperative environment
  • A high level of professionalism and communication, and the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Positive ‘Can do’ attitude
