Community Dentist


We are looking for an enthusiastic Community Dentist for our Regional Child and Adolescent Oral Health Service.

Our Community Dentist works with the Clinical Director providing clinical support to our Dental Therapists and oral health care to children enrolled in the Bee Healthy Regional Dental Service across the greater Wellington region. You will be working across a range of locations including Hutt Hospital, hub clinics and mobile units. 

The Community Dentist role includes the provision of clinical support and teaching, mentoring, innovation and implementation of service strategies.

This is a part time position with the hours negotiable up to 4 days per week.

  •   Bachelor of Dental Surgery (or equivalent)
  •   Registered as a dentist with the Dental Council of New Zealand    
  •   Advanced knowledge of Infection Control procedures and practices   
  •   Experience in project/team activities (desirable)
