Dental Therapist / Oral Health Therapist


Location: Johnsonville, Hutt Valley,Porirua and Kapiti

Contract: x 1 Permanent, Full time (1FTE) & 1 x Permanent, Part time (0.4FTE) positions are available. Hours of work are 8.00am to 4.30pm with part time days to be negotiated. Please state on your cover letter which position/s you are interested in.

About the Role

We are seeking Oral Health and Dental Therapists who are positive, work well in a team environment, and have a friendly and empathetic nature. New graduates are welcome to apply.

The role is varied working in both the hub clinic and visiting schools in the mobile dental van.

Bee Healthy offers great working conditions in our hub clinics and strong clinical support including 1-1 dental assisting for all therapists. 

About the Team/Service Location 

Bee Healthy provides oral health education and clinical services to children throughout the Hutt Valley, Wellington, Porirua, and Kāpiti regions. Everything we do is aimed at providing excellent service to the families and children in our region, to help them to improve and maintain excellent oral health.

About you 

  • Be registered with Dental Council NZ and have a current APC
  • Have Bachelor Oral Health  or Bachelor Health Science  or Diploma/Degree Dental  Therapy
  • Have a current  drivers licence as all staff are required to drive mobile dental vans
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work collegially in a team environment
