Dental Therapy Assistant
Location: Selby Dental Hub Newtown and Miramar Dental Hub Miramar
Contract: Permanent, Part Time (0.6 FTE / 24 hours per week, Wednesday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm)

About the Role
We are seeking a Dental Therapy Assistant to work in our Newtown and Miramar Bee Healthy Dental Hub Clinics. This is a great opportunity to work with tamariki in a healthcare environment.
Dental therapy assistants provide chairside and administration support to oral health therapists in the hub clinic and on the dental examination van.
About the Team/Service Location
Bee Healthy provides clinical services and oral health education to tamariki throughout the Hutt Valley, Wellington, Porirua, and Kāpiti regions. Everything we do is aimed at providing excellent service to the whānau and tamariki in our region, to help them to improve and maintain excellent oral health.
About you
To be successful in this role you must have these attributes
- Experience working in a dental or healthcare environment desirable but not essential
- Experience working with tamariki
- Ability to work in a collegial team environment
- Good computer skills with the ability to record information accurately
- Good communication skills
