Health Care Assistant - Maternity

Location: Hutt Hospital
Contract: Permanent, Part Time 0.6 FTE Rostered and Rotating

About the Role
You will provide assistance to the midwifery and nursing team as required to ensure that a high level of maternity care is maintained at all times. Tasks are predominantly housekeeping, clerical and ensuring the rooms are all cleaned and stocked after discharge. About the Team/Service/ Location
Here at the Hutt Maternity Unit, you will be joining an established team of other Health Care Assistants and Maternity Support workers. You will be part of the wider clinical and administration team. Our unit functions much like an extended family, with work-life balance being extremely important.
