Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role

We are looking for an experienced barista with outstanding customer service skills. This position is Monday to Friday, fixed term contract for 6 months with potential for further opportunities.

The role includes customer service, making barista coffees, cash handling, basic food preparation and service, along with cleaning.

Hutt Valley cafés provide over 500 coffees and meals a day.

Mō tō mātou rōpū – About our team

As a barista you will work closely with three others as part of the larger Food Service team. Our Café Stat team are well known within the hospital as making great coffee with exceptional service. We have a lot of repeat customers that rely on their coffee to get them through the day. We are busy!

Moū – About you

We are looking for someone who can think on their feet, is fast and efficient and used to working in a busy environment.
