Kitchen Assistant

Contract: Permanent, Part Time (0.375 FTE) - Rostered and Rotating

About the Role

As a Kitchen Assistant, your main responsibility would be to prepare and serve meals to patients in the hospital wards. You will collaborate closely with our kitchen team to assist in simple food preparation, clean dishes using an industrial dishwasher, arrange plates, and ensure a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen environment. 

We offer three kitchen shift options: 7:00am–4:00pm, 10:30am–7:00pm, and 4:00pm–7:00pm. This is a 15-hour-per-week role, primarily rostered on a rotating 4:00pm–7:00pm shift. Candidates with flexible availability would be given preference.

The salary band for this position is $59,550 - $66,476 (pro-rata), depending on experience.
