Occupational Therapist / Kaiwhakaora Ngangahau - Inpatient
Location: Hut Hospital
Contract: Fixed term - part time until 16 October 2020
Hours: 20 hours per week (0.5 FTE)
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist with an immediate start to take up a fixed term contract in our inpatient rehab service.
This position is 20 hours per week. It is suitable for an occupational therapist with 3-5 years clinical experience. Our ideal candidate will have experience in goal setting, rehabilitation and discharge planning.
You will be working collaboratively with clients, their whanau and the multidisciplinary team therefore good communication skills are essential. This role has a focus on assessment and treatment to support clients to return to valued occupations and roles.
You will receive regular supervision and mentoring working within a team of experienced rehabilitation therapists.
Applicants must hold New Zealand OT Board registration, current APC and a full NZ driver’s licence.
