Oral & Maxillofacial Regional Coordinator

About the Role 

We have an exciting role available, and we are looking for a dedicated administrator with a ‘can do’ attitude to work 24 hours a week over 5 days for our Oral & Maxillofacial (OMF) Regional Service based at the Hutt Hospital. We offer flexibility in how the hours are structured each day, with specific working hours to be discussed during the interview process. There will be ongoing development over time with a need for a keen eye to detail and strong skills around processes and implementing ideas. 

You will be the sole administration support link between the following DHB’s; Capital & Coast, Hutt Valley, Wairarapa, Midcentral, Whanganui, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki and Nelson.  You will be responsible for the creating the monthly theatre & IV sedation lists for our 5 oral surgeons based at the Hutt Hospital, creating the regional on call surgeon rosters. The role is all about developing and strengthening the relationships between the DHBs Oral & Maxillofacial teams and strong.  You will need to have strong communication skills as you will communicate with patients of the service and various administration and clinical staff from around the region.   Help may also be required with the dental administration team if and when required.

The salary range for this role is $76,705 to $84,754 (pro rata), depending on experience. 

About the Team/Service/ Location 

We are a busy Regional Service that offers services to not only the Hutt Valley area but the region from Hawke’s Bay to Taranaki to Nelson. The team consists of oral maxillofacial surgeons, registrars, senior Specialist Dentists, House Surgeons and Department administrators.
