Physiotherapist - Community/Falls Prevention


ABOUT THE ROLE 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist to join our Community Health Team.

The Physiotherapist in this role provides assessment and intervention for people in their own homes. Patients may present with a diverse range of conditions, impacting on mobility and daily function. 

This role also includes delivery of the 'In Home Strength and Balance Programme'. You will work alongside an Allied Health Assistant to provide falls prevention services to people in their homes. The service includes an initial full home safety assessment followed by strength and balance training as appropriate. This is an exciting new service and provides the opportunity to be involved with the regional falls prevention programme.

We require a Physiotherapist with a broad range of clinical skills and preferably experience working in the community. If you have a flexible and adaptable approach to work and enjoy a varied workload then this may be the position for you.

We provide clinical supervision and encourage ongoing professional development. Our position is 40 hours per week and is fixed term until November 2020.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

As our new Physiotherapist you will have a broad range of clinical skills and preferably experience working in the community. Ideally you will also have a flexible and adaptable approach to work and enjoy a varied workload.
