Physiotherapist / Kaikōmiri - Pain Management

Hours: 20 per week - immediate start
About the role
We are looking for an experienced physiotherapist to join our Pain Management service. We have a part time position (20 hours per week) available with an immediate start. This position is fixed term until February 2022.
management service is based within outpatient services at Hutt Hospital. You
will be working in an integrated MDT team that includes psychologists,
occupational therapists, and an occupational medicine physician. The service
accepts ACC referrals for people whose pain is causing, or creating the risk of
developing, significant pain-related disability and preventing them from
undertaking their usual activities, including work.
In this position
you will provide group and individual physiotherapy assessment and treatment as
well key working to coordinate client care. You will support clients to gain
understanding of their condition and work with them to set and achieve
meaningful, functional goals.
You will receive
support and supervision and enjoy the benefits of being part of the wider
physio team at Hutt Valley DHB.
- NZ Registered Physiotherapist with current annual practicing certificate
- Member of Physiotherapy New Zealand - Professional Association
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience
