Programme Support Officer
The Central Bowel Screening Regional Centre consists of a small team tasked with supporting DHBs in our region to implement the National Bowel Screening Programme being rolled out by Ministry of Health.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an administrator extraordinaire! Someone who will step in and step up when needed, prepared to take on any admin or support tasks.
No two days will be the same. Activities will vary from meeting bookings, agenda, and minutes; co-ordination and supporting Hui, Fono or events; stakeholder engagement and communications support, assistance with collating reports, presentations and other documents.
This would ideally suit someone with some basic project support or coordination type experience, or wanting to move into this area.
This role will involve a wide range of project and quality type work to:
- support the implementation of the Central - Bowel Screening Regional Centre (BSRC)
- support the Central DHBs, PHOs and key stakeholder organisations in their planning and implementation of bowel screening services
- develop, support and share continuous quality improvement activities across the region and nationally
This is a 0.5 FTE Fixed term contract until Nov 2019 (with the possibility of extension).
