Quality Coordinator Perioperative

Location: Hutt Hospital - Perioperative Department

Contract: Permanent - part time (0.6 FTE)


Our Quality Coordinator, Perioperative is responsible for the operation of the quality management system within the Perioperative Department. 

You will be working as part of the Perioperative Leadership Team to deliver an effective quality and risk programme, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement. 

Part of your role will  include organisation of quality improvement and innovation projects, event report management, participation in complaint and resolution response, audit activities and active participation in choosing wisely initiatives.


To work with us you must be registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and hold a current APC. Previous experience in quality initiatives and/or health projects is desirable along with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
