Registered Nurse – ICU Casual pool

About the Role 

This is a casual pool role and will require the skills of flexibility, adaptability and great communication skills to fit in with the team when covering casual shifts. 

 About our team/Service Location

We are an eight bedded unit with a multi-cultural team who provide care to both adults and paediatric patients, with a specialty focus on head and neck/burns patients.  It is a thriving and expanding unit which now includes dialysis.   We provide excellent care to both intensive care and high dependency patients.  It is a supportive environment that encourages openness, honesty and inclusiveness and with opportunities for educational development.

About you 

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic registered nurse with an ability and passion to provide clinical expertise

  • Must have 3-5 years NZ ICU experience 
  • A current NZ APC and the right to work in NZ
  • Current Advanced Life Support and Paediatric Life Support
  • Proficient at caring for ventilated and dialysis patients
  • Able to fit in with a team
