Registered Nurse - Paediatrics


Children’s Ward is a busy 16 bed ward which caters for medical and surgical patients and provides regional service for Paediatric Burns and Plastics patients.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We have exciting opportunities available to work in a multi-speciality ward. You will be working in partnership with babies, children, adolescents and their families, and have the opportunity to care for acute medical and surgical patients and to develop skills in burns and plastic surgery nursing. We are looking for nurses who have a passion for working with babies/children/adolescents and their families.

Positions available are permanent full time and fixed term (6 months). Both are rostered and rotating. 

DUTIES

  • Working rostered and rotating shifts including night shifts
  • Working with multidisciplinary team to provide best outcome for our patients

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Have current practicing certificate
  • Paediatric experience and resilience in a very busy environment
  • Have excellent time management skills
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Are team focused and have positive attitude
  • Are professional and have caring manner
