Contract: Permanent part time - rostered and rotating shifts
Salary: $72,061 - $95,340 as per NZNO Mecca
Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role
Te Whatu Ora - Hutt Valley has an eight theatre suite. We are a dynamic and innovative provider of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery involving multi-disciplinary teams; alongside services for obstetrics and gynaecological, ENT, general, orthopaedics, dental, maxillofacial, and acute services. The Perioperative Department is comprised of the Surgical Admissions Unit (SAU), Post-Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU), and the Day Surgery Unit (DSU) with the 23-Hour Unit as an extension of the DSU.
There will be opportunities to expand and develop knowledge and skills to empower you think critically and independently towards the best outcomes for our patients. In the 23 Hour Unit you will to become a part of a close-knit team and supporting the patient’s during their perioperative journey.

- Current New Zealand Registration and Annual Practicing Certificate
- A high level of professionalism and communication, and the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
