Contract: Fixed-term, Part Time 0.9 FTE Rostered and Rotating. Parental leave cover from 8/6/2026 to 14/5/2027

About the Role
Registered Nurse role in Special Care Baby Unit at Hutt Hospital. Fixed-term, part-time position available to cover parental leave from 8 June 2026 to 14 May 2027. We are looking for nurses who have a passion for working with infants and their families.
About the Team/Service Location
Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) at Hutt Hospital provides care for preterm and sick infants from 32 weeks gestation with the focus on timely and supportive discharge.
It is an exciting opportunity to join our team and work in partnership with infants and their families. You will be working in partnership with babies and their families.
Special Care Baby Unit is a busy Unit with quality driven, patient focused environment and dynamic and supportive team. We have a multi-disciplinary team approach to provide best outcomes for our patients.

About You:
- Current Practicing Certificate
- Neonatal Experience and resilience to work in a busy environment
- Are team focused and have positive attitude
- Have excellent time management and communication skills
- Have a genuine passion for working with babies and families.
