About the Role
Registered Nurse role in Special Care Baby Unit at Hutt Hospital. Permanent part-time position 0.8 FTE available, working 64 hours per fortnight. We are looking for nurses who have a passion for working with infants and their families. Applications are invited from enthusiastic, energetic and self-motivated registered nurses who believe they have the required skills.
About the Team/Service/Location
Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) at Hutt Hospital provides care for preterm and sick infants from 32 weeks' gestation with the focus on timely and supportive discharge.
It is an exciting opportunity to join our team and work in partnership with infants and their families.
Special Care Baby Unit is a busy Unit with quality driven, patient focused environment and dynamic and supportive team. We have a multi-disciplinary team approach to provide best outcomes for our patients.

About you
To be Successful, you must have:
- Current Practicing Certificate
- Neonatal Experience and resilience to work in a busy environment
- Have excellent time management and interpersonal skills
- A team focused and have a positive attitude
- Have a genuine passion for working with babies and families.
