Location: Hutt Hospital - Emergency Department

Contract: Part time permanent opportunities available (0.8 FTE)

We are expanding our team and have new opportunities available, to work in our state-of-the art department supported by a highly effective emergency department team.

About the role

Do you want to work in a supportive environment, where you will be challenged daily caring for our community in an accident and emergency setting. If you have the skills to critically think, assess, plan and a drive to develop your knowledge and skills and have thought about becoming an experienced emergency Nurse, then get in touch and come and meet the team. Our positions are part time position, and include rostered and rotating shifts.

Hutt Hospital ED is a mixed adult/paediatric urban district ED seeing 47,000, patients per year with an admission rate of 24 – 25%. We are supported by a 16 bed Medical Planning & Assessment Unit, as well as excellent medical and surgical teams. We are also the regional centre for Burns and Plastics.

About you

We're looking for Nurses that are professional, eager to learn, willing to be part of a team, able to take direction and communicate well in an emergency situations.  If this is where you want to be, we would like to hear from you.

To work with us you must be registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand, hold a current APC and have a minimum of (including Net P experience) 1 years experience.
