Regional Public Health is offering three secondment (or recruitment) opportunities to Hutt Valley, Capital Coast and Wairarapa DHB and/or primary care registered nurses or phlebotomists to participate in an Environmental Scientific Research (ESR) led SHIVERS IIA research programme.
Funded by the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID) and St. Jude Children’s Hospital USA www.stjude.org/research/initiatives/influenza-research-surveillance.html the research programme is based at the National Centre for Biosecurity and Infectious Disease, Upper Hutt, and follows last year’s successful Southern Hemisphere Influenza and Vaccine Effectiveness, Research and Surveillance project, SHIVERS II.
Fixed term roles on offer:
1 April - 25 November - 40 hours per week (1.0 FTE)
22 April - 7 October - 40 hours per week (1.0 FTE)
1 July - 23 September - 32 hours per week (0.8 FTE)
5 August - 23 September - 16 hours per week (0.4 FTE)
All positions will be located at the National Centre for Biosecurity and Infectious Disease (NCBID), Wallaceville, Upper Hutt .
Skills we’re looking for:
- Clinical assessment.
- Have a general drivers licence and know the greater Wellington region
