About the role

We're looking for someone with a talent and passion for user-centred digital communications to join our 2DHB Communications and Engagement team in this exciting role. 

You will be responsible for setting the direction for our web and digital channels, developing our user experience and content strategy, and developing compelling digital content. You will be confident in understanding user needs, whether it be through analytics or user research.

Skills & experience


  • An experienced communicator, with proven skills in developing digital strategies and user-centred content
  • A track record in managing digital channels and significant communications projects
  • Experienced in engaging internally and growing our community of users internally and externally
  • Excellent ability to write in, and translate to, plain English and proven experience in ensuring compliance with the NZ Government Web Standards
