Sonographer


We are looking for experienced Sonographers to work in our newly transformed Radiology Department, which serves the population of Hutt Valley, as well as Wairarapa, District Health Boards.

Working as a Sonographer in our ultrasound department you will be part of a fast moving fun environment, where you will be exposed to a large variety of work  including MSK, Vascular, Obstetrics and General Sonography. We also hold International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ) accreditation.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Current registration and practicing certificate with the NZ Medical Radiation Technologists Board (or eligible to apply)
  • Experience in abdominal, obstetrics and gynaecology, and small parts ultrasound.

OUR ORGANISATION

Hutt Hospital has 270 beds and we provide most secondary services, as well as being the tertiary centre for regional plastic, maxillofacial and burns services, the regional rheumatology and school dental services and the greater Wellington public health and breast screening services. We are also part of Hutt Valley District Health Board and serve a population of around 145,000.
