Salary: $80,026 - $84,491
Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role
The Team Leader is responsible for leading, coaching and developing a team within Patient Administration Services. You will ensure our service works as effectively and efficiently as possible supporting the needs of clinical staff, general practitioners and patients.

Outpatients covers various specialities including; Plastics, Cardiology, Rheumatology, ENT, Eyes, Audiology, General Outpatients, Diabetes, Respiratory & Paediatrics. We have a happy supportive team who work together to achieve the best outcomes for our people and their families
Moū – About you
As an excellent communicator, you will have a positive, enthusiastic, innovative and proactive approach that exudes confidence in people. You will be team focused and have an adaptable approach to practice. You will have proven experience and a strong understanding of the health sector with a particular focus on outpatient processes and waitlist management.
In order to be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Well-developed time management skills to enable deadlines to be managed and met
- Proactive and professional approach with experience in problem solving and reaching desired goals.
- Client service oriented, with the ability to manage relationships effectively
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise changing workloads while preserving accuracy and confidentiality
- High level of English comprehension, written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, displaying honesty, integrity and a demonstrated sense of ethics in all decisions and actions
- Ability to challenge the status quo and view things from different perspectives; fostering innovative thinking and continuous improvement.
