About the Role

Join our team as a Casual Ward Reliever, providing essential administrative and reception support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the ward. Duties include managing phone and reception enquiries, handling patient admissions and discharges, maintaining patient records and ward information boards, coordinating patient transport, processing emails and correspondence, and supporting staff with general administrative tasks.

This casual role is expected to operate Monday to Friday, between the hours of 07:30 am - 05:00 pm.

The salary band for this position is $67,943 - $77,141 (pro rata for hours worked), depending on experience.

About you

  • Highly organised and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a busy healthcare environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, maintaining a professional and friendly approach.
  • Able to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong administrative skills, keen attention to detail, and confidence using computer systems.
  • Experience in healthcare, reception, or administration is advantageous, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
